Over the last two days we drove from Eureka via Bandon, Oregon and on to Salem Oregon to finally again meet up with our friends Robie & Sharon Furlong. The Route 101 up the Oregon coast is one of the most scenic drives you can find anywhere and we have really enjoyed it. The road was substantially free of ehavy traffic and therefore I could just relax and enjoy the drive.

Dinosaur World-one touristy stops. |

We stopped overnight at Bandon which is next to the world famous Bandon Dunes Golf Courses and of course a visit to the club was in order so we had a very nice lunch there.

Many of the players still play in the traditional "Plus fours" |

Caddies are required and they dress in either black or white overalls similar to what is done at the "Masters". |

We could not help but stop and get our pics taken with these glorious rhodedondren bushes. |
