Odds & Sodds day

Today was a day of tidying up, collecting packages and saying farewell to our vendors Micki and Joe Darling who have been absolutly excellent to deal with and we have discovered that we have lots in common so hopefully we will meet up again someday, in fact our paths may cross in Yellowstone as we are scheduled to be there at the same time in mid June.

After a nice lazy lunch we visited a beutiful old Spanish mission built in 1783.

Below are just a sample of some of the photos taken.

From the mission we returned to base and then went to dinner at a highly recommended Mexican restaraunt called Mi Nidito where President Bill Clinton and many other well known people have had dinner and I must say it was well worth the visit with excellent food and not expensive at $35.00 for two including drinks.

  1. So does that mean you have hit the road now? We are in Portland, Oregon - hoping to cut west to the coast tomorrow arvo.
