Special Note: One of our followers pointed out that I had posted the wrong photos in the wrong place - sorry about that folks and thanks Trish.
Well folks - superlatives cannot describe the smorgasborg of sceneries we have been treated to. From the majestic Grand Canyon to the breathtaking heights of Bryce Canyon, each has its own natural beauty. The highest view point on Bryce was 9100 ft and rather chilly - Robie and Tom were hoping for "beer stops" along the climb - hah! fat chance!
Butter, Robie's and Sharon's yellow VW Turbo Beetle did us proud and handled the steep climbs without missing a beat.
The Navajo Indian Nation owns over 17million acres-it encompasses the entire NE quarter of Arizona and spills over into New Mexico and Utah. That's some real estate!
Don't forget you can click on the individual pictures to see a larger version.
Dixie National Forrest is on the way from Gendale, Utah to Bryce Canyon and was a pretty place to drive through. |
Finally we are at Bryce Canyon which we have seriously been looking forward to. |
Click on the picture above to really appreciate the panaramic view. |
