Well we have finally taken the big jump and retired in late December 2010 having sold our business after 25 years and are currently in the process of planning our holiday of a lifetime.
We are now embarking on an adventure to tour every state of the mainland of the USA by recreational vehicle over the next 3-4 years.
The purpose of this blog will be to keep our family and friends informed about what we are up to and to allow them to keep in touch with us while we are on the road. We hope that you will enjoy this blog as it develops.
A second and important purpose of this blog is to help others in setting off on their own adventure and learn from our experience. I have already discovered many things to be wary of in planning and getting ready for our adventure and I will post them in due course over the next few days.
